ESCP and Sciences Po have launched a new dual bachelor’s degree in Politics, Economics and Management (PEM) delivered entirely in English over four years. Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune, hosted ROOTS IX, an annual conference on therapeutics in dermatology. The three-day event brought together dermatologists, academicians, clinicians, researchers and postgraduate students to discuss recent developments, emerging therapies and current practices in clinical, aesthetic and procedural dermatology.
The Enso Foundation has announced that it will fund scholarships worth ₹500,000 annually over the next three years for students at Jai Hind College, Mumbai, so that they are not forced to abandon their studies for want of funds.

The study suggests that hospitals serving international patients should invest in structured Inter-Cultural Communication (ICC) training programmes for healthcare professionals; strengthen patient confidence by enhancing their medical tourism websites with culturally relevant information about India, its healthcare ecosystem, and tourism opportunities; and leverage emerging technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) to demonstrate how Indian healthcare professionals adapt their communication styles to accommodate patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Anshuman Kumar, Ashirbad Sai, Inderbir Singh, and Vyshnavi V., students of East Pojnt College of Engineering and Technology, Bengaluru, have developed an AI-Powered Nutrition System for Enhanced Dietary Monitoring and Health Promotion under the guidance of Dr. Manimozhi Iyer, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The project leverages advanced technologies such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computer Vision to analyse food images and generate personalised nutritional insights in real time and help users make healthier and informed dietary choices.

Caterpillar India announced the winners of Tech Challenge 2026, its engineering innovation programme. The multi-month competition culminated in on-site grand finales held at Caterpillar facilities in Chennai, Tiruvallur, and Bengaluru, where shortlisted teams showcased working prototypes developed under the guidance of Caterpillar engineers.
