Ramesh Singh & Mimpal Singh to receive Distinguished National Honors
ISLAMABAD: In a momentous gesture, the Pakistani government is set to bestow national honors upon two esteemed Sikhs, recognizing their notable contributions. The government’s decision underscores a commitment to inclusivity and appreciation of diverse communities within the nation. Ramesh Singh Arora, the Ambassador of Sri Darbar Sahib Sri Kartarpur Sahib, will be bestowed with the esteemed ‘Sitara-e-Imtiaz’ award, while Dr. Mimpal Singh, a dedicated member of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, will receive the distinguished ‘Tamgha-e-Imtiaz’ honor. The prestigious awards are scheduled to be conferred during an official ceremony on the 23rd of March, 2024.
