TAPMI invites applications for MBA programmes for 2026–28.

Eligibility: Graduates with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university; students must provide a valid cutoff score in either of the entrance exams — CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT, by GMAC (Only for sectoral programmes). For the selection process, the highest score will be considered. Candidates appearing for their final year in 2026 can also apply.

BIMTECH invites applications for its two-year full-time PGDM programmes.

IIM Lucknow invites applications for its Ph.D programmes for 2026.

Eligibility: A minimum of 55 % marks in all public exams starting with the secondary level; a Master’s degree or equivalent in any discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST candidate); or a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 75% marks (70% for SC/ST candidates) or equivalent GPA, or any professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA and CS with a minimum 55% aggregate marks.

The University of Sheffield, the U.K., invites applications for its MSc Business Analytics course starting in September 2026.

Eligibility: Holders of a three-or-four-year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% from a recognised university in any subject; IELTS 6.5 (with 6 in each component) or university equivalent.

Scholarship: The university will offer International Postgraduate Scholarship 2026 scholarships worth £3,000 to international fee-paying students starting their studies in September 2026. It will be awarded to students who offer the accept from the university by July 7.

Scholarships are available to new international fee-paying students joining a postgraduate taught Master’s degree in the Department of Physics at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, in September 2026.

Chanakya University commemorated its Foundation Day. The foundation stone for a CBSE school was also laid by Anurag Behar, CEO, Azim Premji Foundation. Multiple buildings on the campus were also inaugurated.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education hosted Kairos 2025, its annual International Student’s Day celebration. The theme was Empowering Students to be Agents of Change. Also, the institute’s Manipal School of Information Sciences, Prasanna School of Public Health, and Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, organised the Prevention and Screening Innovation Project Toward Elimination of Cervical Cancer (PRESCRIP-TEC) Conference.

Prof. C. S. Maiti and Graceli I. Yepthomi from Nagaland University developed SAS-KEVÜ, a new ginger variety with higher yield, better dry matter recovery, and improved culinary quality, offering value for farmers, the fresh produce market, and the spice-processing industry.

Zeta and Project Shiksha inaugurated a second computer lab at Cheemasandra Government School, providing digital learning and computer education to over 300 upper-primary students.

Noida International University’s (NIU) School of Journalism and Mass Communication, organised Youth Music and Beatswap as part of the YMCI Producer Battle Fest for over 3,000 students. The university also organised the HR Conclave 2025.

Prayoga Institute of Education Research, for its Anveshana programme, a  fully funded science research initiative for students of classes 9 to 12, won the Nexus of Good Award.

LNM Institute of Information and Technology, Jaipur, won the TrackShift Innovation Challenge hosted by Plaksha University, in collaboration with the Mphasis F1 Foundation. Sarhad College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Pune, and Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Gangtok, won second and third place respectively.

Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB), New Delhi, was awarded the AACSB International Accreditation.

Vikrant Joshi, Principal, Vivekanand Education Society Polytechnic, won the Indian Society for Technical Education Best Principal (Diploma) 2025 Award.

IIM Bangalore secured rank No. 1 rank in India and Central Asia and received the 5 Palmes Emeritus distinction, at the 18th Eduniversal World Convention, hosted at IIM Indore.

Roshan Kanna and Vivaan Kundetkar from Hiranandani Foundation School, Thane, won the Mumbai edition of TCS InQuizitive 2025, while Sashreek Satapathy and Nilesh Nagarajan Suba from Delhi Public School, Vadodara, won the Ahmedabad edition.

UILS, Chandigarh won the Second edition of the NLS-SAM FinTech Moot Court Competition held at the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru.

Semester V students from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Noida International University, won the Best Music Video Award at the Cinematic Brilliance Awards 2025 (AIFF – All India Film Festival, and received special recognition at the Navrang Film Festival 2025 in Assam.

Rafia Anjum from B.Sc. Microbiology, and Mahek Nisha from B.Tech. Computer Science won, from ITM University Raipur, won the Best Research Paper Award in the MetaAeon Series Command Hub, an online workshop organised by ARKASA, in collaboration with Stardust Odyssey. Lumesh Sahu from B.Sc. Biotechnology, earned an internship opportunity.

Aanya Baxi, a student leader, represented India at the International Baccalaureate (IB) Global Conference 2025 held in The Hague, Netherlands. She was the only Indian and one of 12 students globally to join the inaugural IB Youth Advisory Council, from over 1,400 applicants across 160 countries.

Convocations

Pearl Academy, New Delhi, hosted its convocation where 834 students received their degrees.

BML MunjalUniversity hosted its 10th convocation where 597 students received their degrees. Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairperson and CEO of Salesforce South Asia, was the chief guest.

Sanjay Ghodawat University hosted its seventh convocation where 937 students received their degrees. Ram Nath Kovind, Former President of India, was the chief guest.

The National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, Mangaluru held its 23rd convocation where 1,995 students received their degrees. Kamal Bali, President and MD of Volvo Group, India, was the chief guest.

MoUs and partnerships

Ashoka University signed an MoU with the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania, the. U.S., to advance collaborative research for students and faculty in Science, Technology, and interdisciplinary education.

IIHMR University partnered with the University of Manchester, U.K., to enhance global collaboration in health and medicine through joint research projects, student exchanges, and other initiatives.

Galgotias University signed an MoU with Vivo Mobiles, to bridge the academia-industry gap and to equip students with industry-ready skills.

Mahindra University partnered with the University of Southampton, U.K., to promote academic exchange and joint research across disciplines, focusing on Life Sciences and Engineering.

The Indian Institute of Creative Technologies signed an MoU with YouTube to collaborate on skill development, industry knowledge sharing, and capacity building in India’s AVGC-XR sectors.

The International Institute of Culinary Arts, New Delhi, has partnered with Kyoto Culinary Art College and Kyoto Pastry and Bakery Art College, to promote international culinary education and foster cultural exchange between the countries.

Techno India University, West Bengal signed an MoU with Queen’s University Belfast for student exchange programmes, joint research, and more.

Simandhar Education partnered with Presidency University, Bengaluru, to incorporate U.S. CPA, US CMA, and EA certifications into B.Com and MBA programmes, providing students with globally recognised credentials.

Tata Electronics partnered with NIELIT Deemed-to-be-University, Kohima, to enhance India’s semiconductor skilling ecosystem and bridge the domestic industry’s skill gap.

IIM Mumbai partnered with the World Intellectual Foundation (WIF), to bridge the gap between academic research and global societal impact through WIF’s Intellect to Impact framework.

BML Munjal University concluded the first SAAR 2025 by signing MoUs with Bosch India Foundation to support technology-driven sustainable mobility solutions and with ICICI Foundation to promote clean energy and efficient resource use.

The second Tech4Ed International Conference 2025, organised by KC GlobEd and the Association of Indian Universities, saw KC GlobEd sign MoUs with AIMA, ICT Academy Kerala, the International Council for Employment and Empowerment, and the CSR Government division to advance skill development, global certifications, and scholarships for underrepresented learners.

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir partnered with Employability.life to create a Future of Work Lab, providing students with internationally recognised microcredentials and practical skills.

Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies partnered with Coburg University, Germany, to launch a Dual MBA in Financial Management, allowing students to study at both institutions and earn two MBA degrees.
