The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Dubai Campus (BPDC) has introduced Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) programme, with specialisations in Business Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain and HRM and parallel concurrent minors in areas Data Science, Film and Media, Computing and Intelligence, Public Policy, Computational Economics, and Philosophy, Economics, and Politics. It involves an eight-month mandatory internship split between the second and final years.

Eligibility: Minimum 60% in Class 12 exam from CBSE, IGCSE A Level (Cambridge or Edexcel) or IB diploma or equivalent from a recognised state, national or international board. For those who studied in a non-English medium institution must have TOEFL Score of 500 in paper-based test or 61 in internet-based test or IELTS Score of 6.

IIIT Delhi hosted the Digital Delhi Conclave 2025 on the theme Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), bringing together experts, policymakers, academicians, and students for a dialogue on industry, innovation, and infrastructure.

Prof. Mirza Khalid Baig, Assistant Professor, Biotechnology and Medical Engineering and research scholar Deepjyoti Kalita from NIT Rourkela have developed a new AI-driven approach to improve blood sugar predictions for people with diabetes. A paper was published in the IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics. Prof. Susovon Samanta, Associate Professor, Electrical Engineering, Ph.D. student Satabdi Bhattacharya, and dual degree student Madhusmita Barik have been awarded a patent for a low-cost technology to extract maximum power from solar panels under changing weather conditions.

Acharya Bangalore Business School conducted Kaun Banega Leader, an event to develop leadership skills in students. Students made presentations that featured real-life scenarios.

Greenwood High conducted a health camp to provide individuals with information regarding their health status. Over 1,500 teaching, administrative, and support staff members participated.

Vijaybhoomi University hosted Jamrang 2025, its inaugural inter-college talent fest. Over 40 institutions participated. Events included Gen AI/ML Hackathon, Hackathon: Business Idea Pitch, Design Sprint, and Nukkad Natak, were held.

The Central University of Tamil Nadu celebrated National Science Day, with SPARGERE-25, organised by the Department of Chemistry. The theme was Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharat . Prof. M.G. Sethuraman, Senior Professor and Dean, School of Sciences, Gandhigram Rural Institute, was the chief guest.

Jaipuria School of Business, Ghaziabad, held Scintilla 2K25, its annual festival. Over 900 students from over 65 colleges participated. Shilpi Marwah, Director of Sukhmanch Theatre, inaugurated the programme, which included events such as Hackathon, Admaniacs, solo singing, dance, and drama.

The I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC), IIT-Delhi’s technology innovation Hub, collaborated with Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore, to launch a Co-Innovation Centre to mentor aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators.

ITM University, Raipur, hosted the HR Conclave 2025 on the theme Redefining Workforce Strategies through Compliance Excellence and Industry-Aligned Skills. Over 80 leading HR professionals spoke at the event, offering students insights on workforce transformation, compliance excellence, and strategic HR leadership.

Amity University Rajasthan hosted its convocation for the Class of 2024 with 1,101 students receiving their degrees. Honorary degrees were awarded to Dr. M. Ravichandran, Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India; and Prof. Sandeep Verma, Professor, IIT-Kanpur and Former Secretary, SERB. An Honorary Professorship was conferred upon Mr. Ari Gautier, renowned French writer and poet. The Shri Baljit Shastri Award for Excellence in Human and Traditional Values and the Dr. Ashok K. The UPES School of Design hosted automotive designer Maurizio Corbi for L’Arte Dell’Auto: The Art of the Automobile with an exhibition of his work and a lecture. A panel discussion on the evolving world of automotive design was also held.

Shiksha.com has introduced ShikshaGPT, an AI-powered chatbot, on its mobile app for students navigating college admissions, courses, and exam options. It uses AI to provide accurate, up-to-date answers directly from its database.

XLRI Jamshedpur concluded the second edition of the XLRI Jamshedpur Emerging Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award (XL-JESEY 2025) and honoured three social entrepreneurs whose ventures impacted their communities. The institute also hosted the eighth Social Entrepreneurship Conclave on the theme Women Entrepreneurship and Inclusive Growth. Anurag University hosted TEDxAnuragU 2025 on the theme Next is Now. Speakers included B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, founder, Cyient and former Chairperson of NASSCOM; actor and activist Amala Akkineni; and Jayaprakash Narayan, former IAS officer and the founder of FDR and Lok Satta party, among others.

Sri Chaitanya Techno School, Faridabad II, hosted an exhibition at which students showcased 50 exhibits, including working models, posters, and interactive displays, on Science, Maths and Social Studies. The event aimed to foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking among students.

Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, (PGDM), WeSchool, hosted the ACBSP Region 10 Conference 2025 on the theme Bridges Across Borders: Collaborative Strategies for Academic and Professional Success. The Chief Guest was former Chief Justice of India D. Y. Chandrachud. The two-day conference brought together participants from several South Asian countries and showcased around 150 research papers and entrepreneurial ideas.

IIT Guwahati, IIIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Jodhpur, and IIT Dharwad have partnered with the Indian tri-services to establish the Manekshaw Centre of Excellence for National Security Studies and Research (MCOENSSR) for defense and national security research, innovation, and capacity building and enable academia and research institutions across India to collaborate and address critical challenges in defence and national security.

Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) concluded VIHAAN ’25, its annual management, cultural, and literary festival. Over two days, students from institutions such as IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, TAPMI, FORE School of Management, IIM Kashipur, IIM Jammu, and Delhi University competed in 23 diverse competitions, showcasing talent, strategic thinking, and creativity.

The Himachal Pradesh Government has joined hands with Crack Academy to launch the Mere Shehar ke 100 Ratan programme to provide free coaching for various competitive exams to 6,800 students across Himachal Pradesh.

IIT Kanpur has partnered with The Art of Living Foundation to launch a holistic well-being programme for students to support them in navigating academic and personal challenges. Special sessions that integrate meditation, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices to enhance focus, emotional stability, and overall mental well-being will be conducted along with interactive sessions, group activities, and guided meditation programmes led by experienced facilitators. The programme will commence in the last week of March.
