The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, the U.K., is offering 850 International Masters scholarships for M.Sc. programme in Strathclyde Business School (SBS) beginning in September.

ITM Institute of Health Sciences has launched a Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (M.Sc. MLT) programme to equip students with the skills necessary for leadership roles in healthcare, medical research, and laboratory management.

Turnitin has introduced Turnitin Clarity, which will be available as a paid extension to Turnitin Feedback Studio. TeamLease Edtech released a study showing that female enrollments across all universities had increased by 26% in 2024 compared to 2023, reflecting a positive shift towards gender inclusivity in education. The Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at the School of Allied Health Sciences, Noida International University, conducted a three-day workshop on Polymerase Chain Reaction and Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology. Over 60 students participated.
The Department of Geography, School of Earth Sciences, Central University of Tamil Nadu, in association with the Indian Geographical Society (IGS), Chennai, hosted a one-day national conference, GeoVista 2025 on Geographical Visualisation: Trends and Applications. Around 120 researchers registered and 43 papers were presented.
ARCH College of Design and Business partnered with RAJEEVIKA to enhance the marketing of handmade products by women across Rajasthan. Students will work directly with women artisans, bringing ideas for storytelling and branding across self-care, fashion, home décor, bags, and soft toys.
Global College of Pharmaceutical Technology hosted a conference discussing global health challenges along with a multidisciplinary workshop on Real-Time PCR. Over 1,200 students and researchers participated.

Alliance University hosted an Accelerate Action event and also honoured 22 women from various fields with the Mahila Spandana Awards 2025.
vivo India launched Project vivo KanyaGyaan, an initiative to empower Indian women in STEM. It offers scholarship, mentorship, skill development, and industry exposure to young women from underserved communities.
Awards and honours
Ganesha Udupa, Dean of Emerging Energy Technologies and Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, was conferred the Brahma Teja Award for his contributions to the Chandrayaan-3 mission and his research in aerospace engineering.
KPIT Technologies announced the winners of KPIT Sparkle, its innovation competition for undergraduate engineering students. Team RYM Genergy from GD Goenka University, Gurugram, won the Gold Award for its Project Ultron, an advanced energy storage solution.
Chandigarh University, with its 49-student contingent, was declared the Overall Champion at the 38th Inter University National Youth Festival-2024-25. The won first place in competitions such as cartooning, western vocal solo, literary and other events.
MDI Gurgaon came first in the Finclusion Challenge 202 conducted by Muthoot Finance. IIM Lucknow was first runner-up, followed by BITS Pilani Goa.
Tata Steel concluded the 10th edition of its annual innovation challenge Mind Over Matter, which challenges engineering students to address real-life problems related to steel-making and new materials. Namita Dubey from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad campus was the winner, whileRavu Ravi Teja and Kurapati Harshavardhan from IIT (BHU) Varanasiwere declared first and second runners-up respectively.
SP Jain School of Global Management was ranked #23 globally in the QS International Trade Rankings 2025 and 16 in West Asia and Africa, in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2025.

Manipal Institute of Technology has signed an MoU with the University of Surrey, the U.K., to offer Dual Degree and Integrated Master’s programmes. The emphasis is on specialised programmes in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, and Electronic Engineering.

Indian School of Hospitality (ISH) has partnered with GeSS Education to introduce an international career pathway for aspiring chefs and hospitality professionals in India. The partnership will enable ISH’s Intensive Certificate in Culinary Arts (ICAP India) and Intensive Certificate in Bakery and Pastry Arts (ICAP India) students to gain globally-recognised Australian vocational qualifications. The first batch of students under this programme will commence training this June, followed by another batch in November 2026 at the ISH campus, Gurugram. i-merit has signed an MoU with SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Delhi-NCR, to introduce a series of skill development programmes designed to enhance students’ employability. It will range from short-term courses of 120 hours to comprehensive programmes spanning 12 to 25 weeks.
UPES has partnered with EY India to introduce MBA in Strategic Financial Management, where 50% of the curriculum will be designed and delivered by a Big 4 firm. Students from UPES School of Business will receive over 600 hours of direct training from EY India. Additionally, a group of six-10 high-performing students will have the opportunity to secure paid internships.
Amrita University has signed an MoU with the Indian Navy to drive research, innovation, and technological development in the defence sector. It will also facilitate specialised MTech and PhD programmes for naval personnel, fostering advanced research and skill development. Additionally, the university will work towards establishing technology incubation centres and innovation hubs.
