Maths Circles Delhi

IIIT Delhi, in collaboration with the Raising A Mathematician (RAM) Foundation, is launching Maths Circles Delhi to help middle-school students experience the joy and creativity of Maths beyond the classroom. The University of Sheffield, the U.K., invites applications for its B.Sc. Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) course starting in September 2026.

Annual IC3 Conference and Expo

The International Career and College Counselling (IC3) Movement is hosting its Annual IC3 Conference and Expo on the theme Counselling as a Culture. Events

The Muthoot Group has launched the Muthoot Business School in Kochi, Kerala, which will offer a two-year PGDM programme with specialisations in HRM with analytics, Finance with Fintech, Marketing with Analytics, and Data Science and Business Intelligence. The course includes a pre-course paid internship programme.

The Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA) has launched the School of Applied Creativity which will offer two programmes: a one-year Crafting Creative Communications and a two-year Post Graduate Programme in Media, Content, and Entertainment scheduled to commence in July 2026. 

IIM Sambalpur, in association with the Indian Council of Social Science Research, organised a conference on the theme Metaverse Bankscape for Viksit Bharat @2047: Trends, Tech and Transformation. Speakers included Praveen K. BrightCHAMPS released its #StudentsSpeakAI report, which showed that 58% students globally use AI for homework, assignments, and deepen classroom understanding and that only 34% students globally understand how AI works.

Anna University and Nemetschek India inaugurated the Anna-Nemetschek AEC Centre of Excellence at the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, Guindy. P. Thiaga Rajan, Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services, Government of Tamil Nadu, was the chief guest.

Ed-tech platform IIM Skills has incorporated Gen AI tools into its Financial Modelling Course with modules on using Gen AI to automate parts of financial analysis, report generation, and scenario modelling. 

IIM Rohtak hosted its annual HR Summit 2025 on the theme Navigating New Horizons: HR’s Strategic Role in a Changing Global Environment. IIT Roorkee has co-developed the world’s first AI framework to transliterate the Modi script into Devanagari. The Wadhwani Foundation has partnered with the MIT World Peace University to launch the Wadhwani Ignite Bootcamp: RIDE 2025, a credit course for second-year UG students to build real-world ventures through a structured learning journey. MIT World Peace University also hosted the second National Scientists’ Round Table Conference in Pune. Prof. G.D. Vikalp India has introduced Social Emotional Learning (SEL) classes for its students to help them identify and manage their emotions, build empathy, develop healthy relationships, and make responsible decisions.

MAAC concluded the 12th edition of the Delhi CG Animation Awards which saw participation from 1,000 students across all its centres in Delhi participated. Twenty-eight students won across categories for technical and creative excellence.

ETS unveiled the latest edition of the Global Employability Test, a 60-minute, adaptive, online assessment that evaluates a candidate’s workforce readiness. K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management launched SAHARA, a student-led initiative dedicated to supporting mental wellness and holistic wellbeing within the campus. It has partnered with Phybercare, a tech-enabled platform that allows students and faculty to schedule appointments, access wellness resources, and track their emotional journey through a secure mobile app.

Smiling Tree, in collaboration with One.com, organised a plantation drive at Lalit Mahajan SVM School, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. Teachers and students participated.

Devi Sansthan, in collaboration with SBI-SG Global Securities Services, inaugurated smart classrooms in 40 government schools across Ayodhya, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi. A teacher training workshop for160 government school teachers was also held.

Istituto Marangoni Mumbai unveiled its 2025 student showcase, vikAsah. Ananya Singh was awarded the Fashion Design Student of the Year for her collection that was shown at the event.

UNext Manipal Academy of BFSI, inaugurated its a training campus in Mumbai to deliver industry-aligned programmes ranging from domain and functional training to technology, behavioural, leadership skills and NISM certifications. 

Four students from OWIS Sarjapur and GIIS Whitefield were selected to join the Global Schools Sheykhar Ravjiani School of Music. 

Researchers from IIT Guwahati have developed an eco-friendly composite material made of a fast-growing bamboo species in Northeast India, combined with biodegradable polymers. The research was led by Poonam Kumari, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, with research scholars Abir Saha and Nikhil Dilip Kulkarni. The findings have been published in Environment, Development and Sustainability (Springer Nature).

Auxilo Finserve has introduced the Auxilo GlobalEd, an education loan designed for study-abroad aspirants that will cover tuition fees, travel, accommodation, laptop, study material, and living expenses.

Study Group has partnered with the University of Huddersfield to create a London campus, known as University of Huddersfield-London, which will offer career-focused postgraduate courses to international students.

Celebrations

Techno India Group Public School, Ariadaha, hosted an investiture ceremony for its newly elected student council members. Aneesh Sarkar (IPS), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bidhannagar, was the chief guest.

Anurag University hosted its second convocation for over 2,260 students. Prof. T.G. Sitharam, Chairman of the AICTE, was the chief guest.

IIHMR University, Jaipur, hosted a convocation ceremony in which 423 students received their degrees. Haribhau Kishanrao Bagde, Governor of Rajasthan, was the chief guest.

GITAM Deemed-to-be University hosted its 16th convocation with 1,842 students receiving their degrees. Kiran Karnik, former President of NASSCOM, was the chief guest.

IIM Nagpur celebrated its 10th Foundation Day on the theme From Creation to Excellence by inaugurating a pickleball court and releasing a coffee-table book capturing the institute’s milestones, and memorable moments.

Woxsen University conducted an Orientation Programme for 400 students of its MBA programme. Arvind Kumar, Special Chief Secretary, Disaster Management Department, Government of Telangana, was the chief guest.

Awards 

Nagaland University has been chosen to host one of the Four Incubation Centres in the North Eastern region under a Central Government Initiative.

Aryan Rajpal, Shubham Das, Dhruv Bhagat, Aditi Naringe, and Yash Kabra, second-year students of PGDM programme at Goa Institute of Management have qualified for the finals of the Map the System global competition, hosted by the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Oxford for their project Mapping Access to Justice in India.

Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, Coimbatore; New Horizon College of Engineering, and PES University, Bengaluru, secured the top three positions respectively in the inaugural edition of The Great Learning AI Challenge conducted by Great Learning.

Team Elite Achievers won the first prize in the Hack4Health: The HealthTech Hackathon hosted by IIT Delhi’s Innovation and Incubation Center for its  smart and real-time support system for immediate medical intervention during critical situations.

Partnerships

Duolingo English Test has partnered with BorderPass to simplify the study permit process for Indian students pursuing higher education in Canada. 

The Indian Institute of Creative Technologies signed MoUs with Comic Con India and Green Rain Studios to offer structured opportunities for student engagement, industry-academia collaboration, masterclasses, hackathons, internships and to integrate real-time technology skills into IICT’s programmes.

ENTOD Pharmaceuticals Ltd. signed an MoU with Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Pharmacy (VESCOP), Chembur, Mumbai, to establish an academic-industry partnership. It is aimed at advancing pharmaceutical innovation, research, and skill development.

Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology (VESIT) signed an MoU with The Maker Bhavan Foundation (MBF) and Addverb Technologies to establish a MBF-Tinkerers’ Laboratory at the VESIT campus to foster innovation, hands-on learning, and industry-relevant skill development among students.

HOSMAC has signed an MoU with Gulf Medical University (GMU), Ajman, UAE, to integrate real-world exposure with academic learning. The partnership will facilitate joint research initiatives, development of training modules in AI in Healthcare, and faculty exchange programmes.

Medhavi Skills University, in collaboration with its industry outreach arm, Medhavi Aspire, partnered with Barbeque Nation, to launch an industry-integrated hospitality education programme. It has introduced UGC-recognised, work-integrated three-year Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) in Hospitality and Restaurant Operations for those who have completed class 12, and a two-year Diploma of Vocation (D.Voc) in Hospitality Operations for those who have completed class 10.

Learning platform Kruu signed an MoU with Illinois Institute of Technology, to establish the K2 Virtual Incubation Lab to nurture entrepreneurial thinking and real-world problem-solving among high-school students.

Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies entered into an academic initiative with Zell Education and Deloitte to offer a specialised B. Com in Fintech that integrates academic learning with practical exposure in areas such as blockchain, digital payments, data analytics and regulatory technology.

The Bower School of Entrepreneurship signed an MoU with Young Skills University, Telangana, for a UGC-affiliated three-year BBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Agilisium signed an MoU with Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research to set up an Agentic AI-Powered Digital Health and Research Centre to advance scientific research, healthcare delivery, and academic excellence.

The Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council signed an MoU with The Lalit Suri Hospitality School, New Delhi, to enhance the quality and outreach of hospitality training in India.

Salesforce will collaborate with Sister Nivedita University (SNU) to launch the Salesforce Lab that will deliver CRM and AI skills to students across disciplines. 

Dr. Homi Bhabha State University (HBSU), in collaboration with TeamLease EdTech, has launched a B.Sc. Business Artificial Intelligence programme that will involve practical learning, AI tool mastery, and project-based implementation.

S-VYASA Deemed-to-be University, Bengaluru, has partnered with IBM to admit students through the IBM Global Entrance Test, held by IBM Q²D. This offers access to industry-driven content, innovation labs, IBM’s digital badges, and real-world learning experiences with projects, internship and placement opportunities.

The Sanjay Ghodawat Group, in collaboration with the Vishwa Group has launched the Sanjay Ghodawat Global Education, which will serve as a facilitation platform for students who have completed their Diploma, 12th grade, or Graduation and aspire to pursue higher studies in fields such as Engineering, Law, Medicine, and Management.

Merck Life Science has collaborated with the Prayoga Institute of Education Research to support Kriya, an initiative to enhance access to Science education in 45 government schools across 35 educational districts of Karnataka.
