<p>						AMRITSAR: Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, embarked on a momentous visit today, marked by spiritual reverence and infrastructural advancements. The day commenced with a heartfelt tribute at Sri Darbar Sahib, followed by an inspection of the ambitious Delhi-Katra Express Highway. In a remarkable display of national pride, the Union Minister is also set to unveil India&#8217;s tallest national flag at the iconic Attari border.</p>
<p>In a poignant moment of spiritual connection, Nitin Gadkari fulfilled his long-standing desire to offer obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib. Following his visit, he expressed his hopes and aspirations for the nation. &#8220;I prayed to Guru Sahib that our fellow Indians may lead prosperous and joyful lives in the times to come. May our nation continue its journey towards progress,&#8221; Minister Gadkari stated, underlining the significance of his visit to this revered Sikh shrine.</p>
<p>The Union Minister&#8217;s visit also held an important professional aspect, as he arrived to review the ongoing developments of the Delhi-Katra Express Highway. This critical project is expected to enhance connectivity and accessibility for commuters and significantly reduce travel time between the national capital, New Delhi, and the holy town of Katra.</p>
<p>One of the most iconic moments of the day is the unveiling of India&#8217;s tallest national flag at the Attari border. The flag, towering at an impressive 418 feet, will be a symbol of national pride and unity. Notably, this monumental flagpole surpasses its counterpart in neighboring Pakistan by 18 feet. The Indian tricolor was previously hoisted at a height of 360 feet, while the Pakistani flag stood at 400 feet. The new 418-foot flagpole stands proudly in front of the Golden Gate and awaits the inauguration ceremony led by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. This historic event will undoubtedly fill every Indian heart with the patriotic fervor captured in the timeless anthem, &#8216;Jhanda Uncha Rahe Hamara.&#8217;</p>
