<p> <br &sol;>&NewLine;<br &sol;>&NewLine; &Tab; Incident in Shahkot <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&Tab; Search Operation Continues to find the Young Man&Tab; &Tab;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;SHAHKOT&colon; A Tragic Incident unfolded on Thursday evening in the Chak Rame village of Shahkot when a young man disappeared in the swift currents of the Sutlej River while bathing&period; The victim&comma; identified as Damanpreet &lpar;17&rpar;&comma; the son of Surinder Kumar Sonu from Talwandi Butian village in Shahkot&comma; had ventured to the Sutlej River in Chak Rame with three companions&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>As they reached the river&comma; Damanpreet decided to take a dip in its waters&period; However&comma; the ferocity of the river&&num;8217&semi;s flow proved to be overwhelming&comma; and Damanpreet was swiftly swept away by the powerful currents&comma; tragically losing his life by drowning&period; His companions made valiant efforts to locate and rescue him but were unable to do so&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Upon receiving information about the incident&comma; Naib Tehsildar Gurdeep Singh Sandhu of Shahkot and ASI Kashmir Singh from the Model Police Station in Shahkot promptly arrived at the scene&period; Alongside a team of police personnel&comma; they initiated search and rescue operations&comma; enlisting the assistance of divers to locate the missing youth&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Investigating officer Kashmir Singh revealed that as the evening wore on&comma; there were no developments or updates regarding the whereabouts of the young man&period; The situation remained dire&comma; with authorities continuing their search efforts in the hope of finding Damanpreet&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab; end-of <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;
