<p>	 Spokesman Report Said- Canadian Government Did Not Made This Announcement	 	</p>
<p>						RSFC (Team Mohali)- A Video Clip is going viral on social media platforms. In this video, a man can be seen confronting audience about Banning RSS Organization in Canada amid Diplomatic tensions between India and Canada. Now users are claiming that Canadian Government made this announcement.</p>
<p>Facebook page &#8220;Tuhadi Awaaz Paris to&#8221; shared the clip and wrote, &#8220;RSS Banned In Canada&#8221;</p>
<p>Rozana Spokesman found this claim to be misleading. Canadian government did not made this announcement.</p>
<p>Spokesman&#8217;s Investigation&#8230;.</p>
<p>By starting our investigation, we first started with Keyword search to find authentic reports about Banning RSS in Canada. However, we didn&#8217;t found any authentic report.</p>
<p>Going ahead, we listened this video carefully. The person in the video makes 4 main demands:</p>
<p>1. The Canadian ambassador from India should be recalled immediately.</p>
<p>2. The process of expelling Indian Ambassador High Commissioner Mr. Sanjay Kumar Verma from Canada should be started as soon as possible.</p>
<p>3. Trade between India and Canada should be stopped.</p>
<p>4. Together with the World Sikh Organization (WSO) demanded that the RSS should be banned with immediate effect and its members expelled from Canada.</p>
<p>Marking this information, we did keyword search and we came across a report from the renowned media outlet Al Jazeera.</p>
<p>Report Says, &#8220;Sikh and Muslim leaders in Canada have called on the government to do more to prevent potential threats against their communities, after Ottawa announced a probe of possible links between India and the killing of a prominent Sikh leader in the country’s westernmost province.&#8221;</p>
<p>We read the whole report and found that person who is demanding in the viral video is the CEO of the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) Stephen Brown. It should be noted that the National Council of Canadian Muslims is an &#8220;independent, impartial and non-profit organization&#8221; and is not affiliated with the Government of Canada.</p>

<p>Hence, it is clear that there is no officer of the Government of Canada in the viral video and no such decision has been taken by the Canadian Government yet.</p>
