Punjab Introduces Student Police Cadet Program in 280 Schools Across the State

<p> <br &sol;>&NewLine;<br &sol;>&NewLine; &Tab; Student Police Cadet Program <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&Tab; Nurturing Responsible Citizens &&num;8211&semi; Punjab&&num;8217&semi;s Student Police Cadet Program Aims High&Tab; &Tab;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;PATIALA&colon; In an effort to promote discipline&comma; safety&comma; and civic responsibility among students&comma; the Punjab School Education Department has announced the implementation of the Student Police Cadet Program in collaboration with the Punjab Police&period; A total of 280 government schools have been carefully selected to participate in this initiative&comma; aiming to instill a sense of social responsibility and respect for law and order among the youth&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Each district in Punjab has been well-represented in the program&comma; with different schools chosen to be part of this noble endeavor&period; To oversee the effective execution of the program&comma; one teacher from each selected school has been appointed as the School Model Officer&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The chosen teachers&comma; who will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of young cadets&comma; are scheduled to undergo specialized training at the prestigious Punjab Police Academy in Phillaur&period; The training is scheduled to take place on the 7th and 8th of August&comma; with the aim of equipping the teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge to guide and mentor the student cadets effectively&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Among the selected teachers&comma; Amritsar has taken the lead with 20 teachers being chosen for this program&period; Ms&period; Sandeep Kaur and Ms&period; Veena Nilwal have been appointed as nodal officers to coordinate the efforts in their respective districts of Amritsar and Jalandhar&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Other districts that have actively participated in the program include Tarn Taran&comma; Moga&comma; Ropar&comma; Fazilka&comma; Sangrur&comma; Ferozepur&comma; Sri Muktsar Sahib&comma; Barnala&comma; Sri Fatehgarh Sahib&comma; Bathinda&comma; Mansa&comma; Kapurthala&comma; Hoshiarpur&comma; Pathankot&comma; Malerkotla&comma; Faridkot&comma; Mohali&comma; Batala&comma; Gurdaspur&comma; and SBS Nagar&comma; with 10 teachers from each of these districts being selected&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The highest number of participants&comma; 30 teachers&comma; has been selected from the district of Ludhiana&comma; showcasing their commitment to creating a safer and more responsible society&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Student Police Cadet Program is expected to provide students with valuable life skills&comma; including leadership&comma; teamwork&comma; and communication&comma; while also fostering a sense of pride in serving their community and country&period; By integrating classroom learning with hands-on experiences&comma; the program aims to produce responsible citizens who will contribute positively to society&period;&&num;13&semi;<br &sol;>&NewLine; <br &sol;>&NewLine;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab;&Tab; end-of <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;
