<p><b>The Department of Physics, Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women, Chennai, </b>organised a state-level seminar on Advancing Frontiers: Innovations, Materials and Global Strategy 2025. <p><b>IIT Roorkee</b> hosted the 12th Scientific Assembly of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences. Anand Bardhan, Chief Secretary, Government of Uttarakhand, was the chief guest. Researchers at the institute’s <b>Innovations in Paper and Packaging Lab,</b> in collaboration with<b> Parason Machinery India</b>, developed eco-friendly tableware made from wheat straw, an agricultural residue burned after harvest. The institute’s <b>Department of Design,</b> in collaboration with the<b> International Centre for Frugal Innovation</b> (ICFI), the Netherlands, and the <b>Transdisciplinary Research Cluster on Frugality Studies (TRCFS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), </b>hosted a three-day international workshop on <i>Heuristics in Frugal Innovation.</i></p>
<p>According to the <b><i>Future-Ready Campuses: Unlocking the Power of AI in Higher Education</i></b> report released by EY-Parthenon, in collaboration with FICCI, over 56% of Indian HEIs have implemented AI-related policies and 60% have permitted students to use AI tools, including generative AI applications in tutoring. The survey covered 30 higher education institutions (HEIs) across the country.</p>
<p><b>Springer Nature,</b> in collaboration with the <b>Ministry of Education, Government of India,</b> flagged off the third edition of the India Research Tour 2025 to focus on promoting open Access and advancing awareness of One Nation, One Subscription and discuss research integrity and AI’s role in publishing.</p>
<p><b>Suhani Agarwal, Krrish Gupta, and Ishita Mahajan, fourth-year students of The Design Village, Noida,</b> designed a special exhibition at the National Gandhi Museum, titled <i>Gandhi, African and American Leaders: Quest for Justice through Nonviolence, </i>which focused on Gandhiji’s philosophy of nonviolence, his association with African communities, and more.</p>
<p><b>Vijeth H., and Pewe-u Marhu from Nagaland University </b>developed a flexible supercapacitor device capable of powering next-generation wearable electronics, electric vehicles, and renewable energy systems. The findings were published in <i>RSC Advances</i>, published by the Royal Society of Chemistry.</p>
<p><b>Sarita R. Zele, Professor, Research and Development; Nivedita Gogate, Associate Professor, Civil Engineering; and other research scholars from MIT World Peace University</b> have developed a recycling process that tackles the increasing solar photovoltaic PV waste. </p>
<p><b>LEAD Group,</b> in collaboration with <b>Mahesh Shetty</b>, founder and ex-CEO of Mahesh Tutorials, has introduced Board Ace to help students crack the board exams without tuitions. It delivers exam prep during school hours and includes academic support systems for teachers and students, and predictive tools, among others.</p>
<p><b>Smiling Tree</b> partnered with <b>Hindu College’s Political Science Department </b>for a green initiative to promote environmental awareness and sustainable living.</p>
<p><b>IIM Sambalpur </b>celebrated its 11th Foundation Day with Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education, was the chief guest. It inaugurated its new BS Programme Hostel facility, and a new Rangabati Open Theatre and Café Hub Complex.</p>
<p><b>Arshdeep Singh, a 12-year-old student at DPS International, Gurugram,</b> has initiated school projects to purify dirty water, a nano bubble technology to increase oxygen levels and overall water quality in ponds and lakes, and the promotion of waterless urinal, to save water.</p>
<p><b>Kruu </b>announced the Kruu Youth Fellowship (KYF) and College in the Cloud (CLIC) initiatives. KYF is a 100-day pre-university launchpad that equips high school students with academic profiling, real-world problem-solving experiences and more. CLIC embeds project-based learning into university study by offering masterclasses with global professors, guided projects with mentorship, and more.</p>
<p><b>Birla Institute of Management Technology </b>hosted Swarup Mohanty, Vice Chairman and CEO, Mirae Asset Investment Managers (India), for a discussion on the future of India’s asset management sector, leadership challenges, and guidance for the next generation of professionals. </p>
<p><b>Phillips Education</b> and <b>Arthan</b> held <i>The G.R.O.W.T.H. Dialogue: Gathering Resources and Opportunities for Workforce Transformation and Humanity</i>, with Saurabh Bahuguna, Minister for Skill Development and Employment, Uttarakhand, delivering the keynote address. </p>
<p><b>O.P. Jindal Global University </b>celebrated its 16th anniversary and University Day, on the theme <i>The India Story, Brand India</i>. Amitabh Kant, Former G20 Sherpa of India, addressed students and faculty.</p>
<p><b>Excelsoft Technologies</b> has launched an AI toolkit designed in collaboration with teachers to support classroom preparation, lesson planning, and student assessment. It includes Lesson Plan Assist, Quiz Generator, Exam Preparation Assist, and Video Trimmer.</p>
<p><b>IIHMR University</b>, in collaboration with the<b> South-East Asia Public Health Education Institutions Network </b>(SEAPHEIN), hosted a webinar on <i>Landscape of Public Health Education Programmes in the South-East Asia Region</i>.
