<p><b>IIM Kashipur</b> concluded its International Conference on Business Management 2026, focused on innovation, digital transformation, resilience, and AI. <p>The <b>Graduate Management Admission Council</b> has introduced GMAT Superscore, which will combine candidates’ best section scores across multiple attempts. Set to launch in August, it will appear in MBA.com accounts and be included in official score reports sent to programmes.</p>
<p><b>Appointments</b></p>
<p>Senior Professor <b>Sulochana Shekhar</b> has assumed charge as the Vice-Chancellor of the<b> Central University of Tamil Nadu.</b></p>
<p><b>Prof. Rishikesha T. Krishnan </b>has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of <b>Ashoka University</b>. He has served as director of IIM Indore and IIM Bangalore and will succeed Prof. Somak Raychaudhary.</p>

<p><b>Research</b></p>
<p>Prof. Pranab Kumar Ghosh of <b>IIT Guwahati’s</b> Civil Engineering Department, along with research scholar Sreekanth Yadav Golla, has developed a biological method using sulphate-reducing bacteria to remove lead from acidic industrial wastewater. The study was published in the <i>Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering.</i></p>
<p>Prof. Sunipa Bhattacharyya of <b>NIT Rourkela’s</b> Ceramic Engineering Department, along with researchers Susant Mohapatra and Sourav Ranjan Satpathy, has developed a water-based ceramic adsorbent using fly ash, Ground Granulated Blast-Furnace Slag, and kaolin clay to remove dye pollutants from industrial wastewater. The study was published in <i>Chemistry Select. </i></p>
<p>Researchers at <b>Nagaland University </b>have highlighted how traditional knowledge supports terrace farming practices among the Angami Naga community aligns with sustainable agriculture and food security. The findings were published in a SAGE journal.</p>
<p><b>Awards</b></p>
<p><b>Prestige University Indore’s</b> campus was declared the Jury Winner at the 2026 Architizer A+ Awards in the Higher Education and Research Facilities category.</p>
