<p><b>The University of Sheffield </b>is offering three Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust masters scholarships.</p>
<p><b>Eligibility: </b>Applicants must hold an offer to study at the university in the 2026-27 academic year; permanently domiciled in India; classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes; must not already hold a qualification that is of an equivalent or higher level to the course they are applying for; must not have previously studied outside of their country of residence; must be self-funded.</p>

<p><b>The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow,</b> invites applications for its MSc in Design Engineering with Sustainability, starting in September 2026.</p>
<p><b>Eligibility:</b> A first-or-second-class Honour’s degree (or international equivalent) in a relevant Engineering, Technology or Science discipline; IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall (no individual band less than 5.5)</p>

<p><b>Researchers from Nagaland University’s Department of Horticulture </b>demonstrated how pineapple processing waste can be turned into value-added products, supporting rural livelihoods and reducing environmental impact. <p><b>Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, </b>hosted the inaugural Supercomputing India 2025 summit themed<i> HPC, AI, and Quantum Computing</i>. It featured over 175 exhibitors and over 5,000 global delegates.</p>

<p><b>Galgotias University </b>hosted the 2025 IEEE seventh International Conference on Computing, Communication and Automation, bringing together researchers, technologists, academicians and industry experts from India and abroad. It received 2,278 research paper submissions of which 430 were accepted.</p>
<p><b>O.P. Jindal Global University </b>hosted a senior University of Tokyo delegation for the India-Japan Higher Education Conclave 2025, a six-day tri-city tour themed <i>Future of Global Education</i>:<i> India and Japan as Leaders of Knowledge and Innovation</i>. Policymakers, scholars, and students discussed emerging trends in global higher education.</p>
<p><b>Kedman Global </b>appointed<b> Franchise India Brands Limited </b>as its exclusive franchise partner to expand Manav Rachna International Schools, Kunskapsskolan Schools, and the Swedish KED Programme across India.</p>
<p><b>JK Lakshmipat University </b>hosted Sangam 2.0, its HR conclave themed <i>Grooming the Talent for Future, Now</i>, where participants discussed strengthening academia–industry collaboration to meet evolving workforce needs.</p>
<p><b>IIT Guwahati </b>hosted the 17th Indian STEPs and Business Incubators Association Conference 2025 themed <i>Enabling the Enablers for a Viksit Bharat</i>. More than 200 participants gained exposure to 20 sessions including panel discussions, masterclasses, and keynote addresses. </p>
<p><b>IIM Mumbai </b>launched its Four-Year Bachelor’s Programme in Digital Science and Business Management. </p>
<p><b>Kotak Education Foundation </b>held its RIZE 2025 scholarship ceremony, felicitating over 1,400 new scholars from economically disadvantaged families across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, to support their higher education.</p>
<p><b>Anudip Foundation for Social Welfare</b> and<b> DBS Bank India </b>launched a new DeepTech Training Centre in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, to bridge India’s tech skills gap through industry-focused training in non-programming digital technologies, communication, career readiness, and soft skills.</p>
<p><b>The International Conference on Advances in Management Practices 2025</b> was organised at JIMS Rohini. It brought together academicians, researchers, and industry leaders from across the country. Anuradha Sastry, Director, PwC India, the chief guest, delivered the keynote address.</p>
<p><b>Convocations</b></p>
<p><b>Centurion University of Technology and Management </b>held its 13<sup>th</sup> convocation where 3,059 students received their degrees. Dignitaries included Hari Babu Kambhampati, Governor of Odisha, V. Narayanan, Chairman, ISRO, and B. K. Das, Director General (ECS), DRDO.</p>
<p><b>Anant National University</b> hosted its seventh convocation where 299 students received their degrees. Sridhar Vembu, Co-founder of Zoho Corporation, was the chief guest.</p>
<p><b>Laurels and awards</b></p>
<p><b>Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) </b>won the CII Industry–Academia Partnership Award in the Platinum Category at the CII Industry–Academia Partnership Summit.</p>
<p><b>Tetr College won the Gold Award, </b>and<b> Masters’ Union, the bronze </b>in the Innovation in Business Education category at the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2025.</p>
<p><b>Gyan Prakash and Bhavyman Sharma from Army Public School, Hyderabad, </b>were declared the national champions of TCS InQuizitive 2025.</p>
<p><b>Learning tech innovator Courseplay </b>won gold for Best Advance in Learning Management Technology at the Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Awards.</p>
<p><b>Students of Birla Open Minds International School, Danapur, </b>won the first prize in Product Design for developing an Electronic Toothbrush with new-generation features</p>
<p><b>The MET Institute of Mass Media </b>was awarded the World Record by the Global Book of Excellence, England, for its student-led sustainable 9.5-foot trophy initiative, weighing 350 kgs, crafted entirely from e-waste and eco-friendly material.</p>
<p>In Globalart’s International Competition themed <i>My World of AI,</i><b> Chennai student Shabdha Sriram won the championship and Priyahasini S. was first runner-up in Group D</b>. <b>Dheeran K. from Coimbator</b>e was declared first runner-up in Group B while <b>Sharvika S.</b> was the first runner-up in Group C.<b></b></p>
<p>Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. concluded the SUN PRISM 2025 B-school case competition. <b>Team Zenith (NMIMS) and Team Placebo (SJMSOM, IIT Bombay)</b> were winners in the first-year MBA track, and <b>Team Valor (XIM) and Team Out Thinkers (IIFT Kolkata)</b> were winners in the second-year MBA track.</p>
<p><b>Neel Goplani, a PG student from MICA,</b> was declared the national winner of the Tata Imagination Challenge. </p>
<p><b>IIM Lucknow </b>achieved the EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) Accreditation.</p>
