<p>	 Indian Flagpole Towering Over Pakistan by 18 Feet Awaits Grand Inauguration	 	</p>
<p>						AMRITSAR: At the Attari border in Amritsar, a symbol of national pride is set to reach new heights as India prepares to hoist its tricolor flag on a towering 418-foot flagpole, outstripping neighboring Pakistan&#8217;s by a significant 18 feet. The existing Indian tricolor pole stands at 360 feet, while the Pakistani flagpole measures 400 feet.</p>
<p>The Inauguration of this monumental flagpole was originally scheduled for the near future, but due to unforeseen circumstances, it has been postponed. Nonetheless, the Indian tricolor is set to flutter majestically from this remarkable 418-foot flagpole soon. Situated just 100 meters from the previous 360-foot flagpole, this new addition has been crafted with a base elevated 4 feet above the ground.</p>
<p>The Amritsar Improvement Trust had previously erected the 360-foot flagpole in 2017, which prompted Pakistan to respond by installing a 400-foot flagpole along its border during the same year. This led to considerable controversy between the two nations over the act of flag hoisting.</p>
<p>Notably, the Pakistani flagpole is equipped with cameras, allowing for surveillance deep into Indian territory. In preparation for the inauguration of the new flagpole, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has positioned approximately five national flags, each measuring an impressive 120&#215;80 feet. These colossal tricolor flags collectively weigh a remarkable 90 kilograms, symbolizing the nation&#8217;s pride and unity.<br />
