<p>						HANGZHOU: The Indian men&#8217;s compound archery team showcased remarkable prowess and clinched the gold medal in the archery competition at the Asian Games in Hangzhou. The trio of Abhishek Verma, Ojas Deotale, and Prathamesh Jawkar put on a splendid display, securing another gold medal for India by defeating a formidable South Korean team with a score of 235-230 on Thursday.</p>
<p>The Indian team made an impressive start, taking the lead with a score of 58-55, capitalizing on five nine-pointers from the South Korean side. Despite a slight misstep from Korea in the opening shot of End 2, where they scored a 10, India maintained their offensive stance and continued to target the inner circle.</p>
<p>Though Jawkar had a slight miss with one of his eight arrows, India still maintained the lead at 116-114 after the second end. In the third end, Korea started with a score of 28/30, but India displayed outstanding precision, concluding the round with a perfect score of 30.</p>
<p>As the competition progressed, Korea fought back with determination, managing to extend their lead to five points at 175-170 after the third end, aided by another nine-pointer in the second set of arrows. However, the Indian team displayed unparalleled resilience and determination in the final minutes, scoring a perfect 60/60, leaving no room for a Korean comeback. With this victory, India secured its third gold of the day, raising the nation&#8217;s gold medal tally to an impressive 21 in the ongoing Asian Games. <br />
