Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann issues a firm response to the claims made by Partap Singh Bajwa regarding AAP MLAs

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann responded to the Leader of the Opposition, Partap Singh Bajwa, through a tweet following Bajwa’s assertion that 32 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs were in contact with him. Bajwa had confidently stated that with a bit more effort, a government could be formed, given their alleged interactions.

In a sharp riposte, CM Bhagwant Mann addressed Bajwa and questioned if he was planning the destabilization of the Punjab government elected by the people. CM Mann further emphasized his role as a representative of the three crore people of Punjab, asserting that his focus was on public service rather than merely seeking a position of power. He urged Bajwa to directly communicate with the party’s High Command if he had the audacity to pursue such actions.

Partap Singh Bajwa had earlier predicted the fall of the Punjab government within two months post the elections. Responding to this prediction, AAP leaders dismissed Bajwa’s aspirations to become the Chief Minister of Punjab, labeling his statements as driven by a desire for personal gains. AAP reiterated their trust in the loyalty of their MLAs to the party, firmly rebuffing Bajwa’s claims.
