<p>	 Police apprehend Manoj Guru and accomplice, revealing threats made in the guise of notorious gangster Kala Jathedi&#8217;s nephew.	 	</p>
<p>						GURUGRAM: Haryanvi singer Manoj Guru, along with his associate, has been apprehended by Gurugram police for allegedly threatening the director of a music company over a contract dispute. The singer purportedly used the notorious gangster Kala Jathedi&#8217;s name to intimidate the music company&#8217;s director, leading to his arrest.</p>
<p>Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Varun Dahiya stated that the director of Jam Tunes Music Company lodged a formal complaint at the Sector-37 police station. The complainant recounted an incident on September 17 when an individual claiming to be Kala Jathedi&#8217;s nephew contacted him, issuing threats against Guru Haryanvi if he did not terminate the contract. A case was registered by the police based on the complaint.</p>
<p>Taking the threat seriously, the police apprehended two individuals near Indian Gas Godam in Gurugram&#8217;s Sector-37. The arrested suspects were identified as Deepak alias Kacha, a resident of Jathedi village in Sonipat, and Manoj alias Guru, residing in Shiv Nagar, Hisar.</p>
<p>Upon interrogation, the accused revealed that Manoj alias Guru is a Haryanvi singer who had a five-year contractual agreement with Jam Tunes Music Company. The contract stipulated the release of 10-12 songs annually, accompanied by live stage performances. However, the music company allegedly failed to honor the terms.</p>
<p>In response, Manoj Guru and his partner, Deepak alias Kacha, demanded that the music company terminate the agreement. They allegedly resorted to threats, including the mention of gangster Kala Jathedi&#8217;s name, warning of dire consequences if the contract was not annulled. Guru claimed to have met Deepak alias Kacha during a program celebrating gangster Kala Jathedi&#8217;s brother&#8217;s birthday.</p>
<p>Notably, According to ACP, Deepak alias Kacha is facing two cases in Sonepat district related to murder, attempted murder, and Arms Act violations. The police have confiscated two mobile phones used for issuing threats from the accused&#8217;s possession. Both accused have been produced in court, and preparations are underway to secure remand for further investigation.</p>
