<p>						MOHALI: A Video widely spreading on social media in which a flood like situation can be seen at New York Subway Station. Users on social media sharing this video as recent linked with New York Floods.</p>
<p>&#8220;Few days back state of emergency has been declared in New York City as strong storms bring flash flooding.&#8221;</p>
<p>X account &#8220;RestoringOurCulture&#8221; shared the video and wrote, &#8220;New York City subway, for the first time in years the vagons are cleaned, and this could not be possible without the floods.&#8221;</p>

<p>Another X account &#8220;Miss_Mystique007?&#8221; shared the video on 1 Oct 2023 and wrote, &#8220;New York City Subway Flooding..!&#8221;</p>
<p>Spokesman in it&#8217;s investigation found the video to be old from year 2021. This video has no link with recent flood like situation in New York City.</p>

<p>To start our investigation, we looked the video carefully and found that at the upper left side of the video, courtesy has been given to AlexEtling via Storyful.</p>
<p>Keeping this information in our mind, we did keyword search.</p>
<p>Viral video is not recent.</p>
<p>We found the original video uploaded by Alex Etling. Alex shared this video on X on 2 Sep 2021 and wrote, &#8220;Getting a bit of rain in New York City tonight…&#8221;</p>

<p>Also, we found many reports regarding the incident. ABC News on 2 Sep 2021 shared the video and gave the description, &#8220;Water cascades onto a New York City subway train as remnants of Hurricane Ida bring flooding rain to the Northeast. https://abcn.ws/3yDWYWH&#8221;</p>
<p>Hence, it is clear that the viral video is old and has no link with recent New York City floods.</p>
<p>Conclusion: Spokesman in it&#8217;s investigation found the video to be old from year 2021. This video has no link with recent flood like situation in New York City.<br />
